The Word of God is Gods Love Letter to Us but it also His Instructions on how to live and have success here. It is full of Wisdom. We are going dig up the wealth that is in His Word of Proverbs.

Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding are recurring themes in the Bible, and they are related but not synonymous.

Wisdom defined as, “the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting.
Knowledge is defined is, “Information gained through experience, reasoning, or acquaintance.”
Understanding is defined is, “
the ability to learn, judge, make decisions, etc; intelligence or sense.”to perceive the meaning of; grasp the idea of; comprehend:

Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but you can not have wisdom without knowledge.
Illustration: Knowledge is knowing how to use a gun; wisdom is knowing when to use it and when to keep it holstered.

God wants us to have knowledge of Him and what He expects of us. In order to obey Him, we have to have knowledge of the His Words, Instructions. God always wants us to have Wisdom. Knowing facts about God and the Bible is not all there is to wisdom.

Wisdom is a Gift from God.
James 1:5. “If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”

What is Wisdom?

Proverbs 1:1-5

“The proverbs (truths obscurely expressed, maxims) of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:”
PROVERBS 1:1 AMP

A proverb is maxim so a Maxim is maxim definition: 1. a short statement of a general truth, principle, or rule for behavior, a brief statement of a general truth, principle, or rule for behavior:

So a proverb is a mixim it is a short or brief statement of general truth, principle, or rule for behavior.
But these Proverbs are much more than statements form Solomon to you and I. The root of this word Proverb in the Hebrew is Mashal (Maw-shal) means to Rule, have, make to have Dominion, Reign, Rule, Have Power.

So these Proverbs were given to us to cause us to Rule and Reign with Power.

“To know [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction; To discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight,”
PROVERBS 1:2 AMP

When you know you know you can see it. To know like you know your best friend. Not think or maybe no you know. To know Skillful and godly wisdom and instruction. This is Wisdom.

Wisdom defined as, “the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting. To be wise in mind, word and acts.”

God wants us to have this Ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting so we are wise in mind, words, and acts, to Rule, and Reign, and do life with Power, His Power.
This is why God says Wisdom is more valuable than Gold or silver or diamonds and rubies.

This kind of Wisdom, Godly and Skillful Wisdom will guide into all that God has set up for us.

TO DISCERN AND COMPREHEND THE WORDS OF UNDERSTANDING AND INSIGHT.

DISCERN: 1. to see, recognize, or understand something that is not clear or decide something, learn.

PROVERBS IS FULL OF MAXIMS FOR YOU AND I TO GROW TO RULE AND REIGN TO HAVE HIS POWER.

“To receive instruction in wise behavior and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, Righteousness, justice, and integrity;”
PROVERBS 1:3 AMP

THE WORD SAYS TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS IN WISE BEHAVIOR. WHEN YOU RECEIVE SOMETHING IT IS NOT LIKE WHEN AMAZON DROPS OFF A BOX AT YOUR HOUSE. RECEIVING IS WHEN YOU GET IT, YOU SIGN FOR IT YOU TAKE IT IN YOUR HOUSE AND YOU OPEN THE BOX AND BEGIN TO USE WHAT IS IN IT. THAT IS RECEIVING.

IT IS LIKE A GIFT, TAKE IT, OPEN IT UP AND BEGIN TO USE THESE TRUTHS TO CAUSE YOU AND I TO RULE AND REGIN AND HAVE POWER.
HIS WORD HAS SO MUCH POWER WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT. MANY PEOPLE READ IT BUT DO NOT RECEIVE IT.

The Bible says to receive the word with gladness.

“And we also thank God continually for this, that when you received the word of God [concerning salvation] which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its inherent, supernatural power in those of faith].”
1 THESSALONIANS 2:13 AMP

Receive His Words. So many have this power sitting under there bed or behind a nightstand or in a book shelf. Life and power and amazing instructions for power and success and healing and wholeness are in it.

“That prudence (good judgment, astute common sense) may be given to the naive or inexperienced [who are easily misled], And knowledge and discretion (intelligent discernment) to the youth,”
