THE TRANSFORMATION: Walking in Your New Life.

“We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways].”
ROMANS 6:4 AMP

Jesus was not the same man who went into the tomb and who came out. He went in beaten, tortured, crucified, and dead. He came out powerful, victorious, alive again.
Jesus accomplished His first mission with death. When Jesus was resurrected He began a new message. This Message was a message of Transformation. Walking In Your New Life.

When Jesus was resurrected He left the tomb. He left the place of death, Hell and the grave.
REVELATION 1:18 says it.

He goes in beaten, bruised, seemingly defeated and dead but emerges with Power, Hope, Supernatural Love and Supernatural Life. He died a natural death, but emerged from a natural death to a Supernatural Life.

We have passed from death to life. When we get saved born again it’s all new and fresh. It’s like a new marriage or a young couple having their first child.

There is this new and fresh stage. We will call it Honeymoon or the beginning.

Remember everything is so perfect. The death stage, resurrection stage but the Born Again stage is all so beautiful. It’s all so perfect. It’s like Heaven on earth. Nothing ever goes wrong. Perfect, perfect, perfect. This is a season, a short season because soon reality hits, strikes or you just wake up. Young couple she can do no wrong. Burns dinner, and you say dinner was so delicious. He looses his job and wrecks the car but a newlywed says it’s ok honey we will make it because we got each other. Remember having your first child. Nine months of pain, pressure size increase, stretch marks, back aches, 15hours in delivery and now tears of joy. Oh the pleasures of childbirth. We are so happy, so in love, so feeling like nothing matters, LIFE IS AMAZING FOR THIS SHORT SEASON.

I remember first getting saved, born again. Man I was loving God. I was telling everyone about my God. I invited everyone to church. When I had gas I made 3-5 trips picking up people for church. We were so in love with God.

This session is called TRANSFORMATION- WALKING IN YOUR NEW LIFE.

Romans 6:4B we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways].”

Last week was The Restoration The Born Again this week is Transformation- Walking in your new life.

We all have this season of newness and freshness in anything we start or get involved in at the beginning.

Transformation is another season. This is the season of challenges and changes.
CHALLENGES AND CHANGES. YOU CAN NOT HAVE A TRANSFORMATION WITHOUT CHALLENGES AND CHANGES.

I love new young married couples. I remember this one and I said you will have challenges down the road. They said oh no Pastor we will never argue or fight, we are to much in love with each other. Hahahahahahah

You can’t stay in the fresh, newness of life. You must move forward into the transformation
stage. Transformation ——-Challenges & Changes.

STORY OF BOXED NEW BIBLE: I remember Yvonne and I were so in love with God and each other. We had a new baby, new family and new life in Jesus. We were new in ministry. We started to hold a little bible study in our little project apt. We were so happy. Life was so amazing. My Pastor bought me a brand new Bible.

We are moving from the born again fresh, newness stage to the Transformation Stage, remember Challenges & Changes.

I look at her and she has this evil smirky look and I say idolatry ok, so I grab her purse with her 2 tons of makeup and I get her purse her idol and I throw It across the street and of course everything flies out. Right before bible study.

We went from this so beautiful, fresh and nothing can ever go wrong to challenges and so many changes like hell on earth.

Transformation is not easy. Because this is where God molds us, shapes us, stretches us till we fill like we are going to snap in half. There is where you learn to Trust God, this is where you learn to walk in your faith everyday no matter what you have to face. This is where the trials and test come.

“Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”
JAMES 1:2-4 AMP

Turn to someone and tell them The Honeymoon is over. It’s time for Transformation—-Challenges & Changes.

The Joy is God is creating within you a very powerful, successful, anointed person as you flow with Him. If you choose to do your own thing, choose not to go thru the challenges & changes you don’t grow and mature into who God desires for you to be. Stuck or parked in life, going no where.

Abigail, Isaac and Michelle’s daughter was crawling around at our staff/volunteers meeting last night. We would love to have you join our team of staff volunteers. So Abigail is crawling and she crawls up and stands up holding onto my leg as I was speaking. She starts to get back down and falls and rolls over on her back and she has this startled wide eyed look on her face, like is anyone going to pick me up. No we did not. It’s part of her Transformation from crawling to walking.

James 1:4 so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.

This is the purpose of Transformation. This is the Purpose of Challenges and Changes.
What happens when the trials come we quit or run a throw in the towel but what you don’t realize is that God’s Word says He said the Work that He started in you He will complete.

I seen a huge apartment complex that the builders stopped for whatever reason. It was incomplete, unlivable, many believers are like this incomplete building. You can sin, you hide, you can change churches, you can move to another state but you can never run from Gods Reach. You are His Work.

“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”
PHILIPPIANS 1:6 AMP

What people do not realize is that God never quits or abandons His Work. Hebrews 11:5
God never gives up on us our life projects but you and I have to do as our Master Builder says. Many people are incomplete projects because they don’t want to change, they don’t want to follow, they don’t want to forgive or love, they don’t want grow in God so they stop the project and live incomplete lives.
You don’t need to judge the incomplete building of a life. It’s incomplete, it’s useless, it’s not good for anything till the building begins again. Gods purpose is perfect & complete us.

so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”
JAMES 1:-4 AMP

Perfect, Completely developed in your faith LACKING IN NOTHING.
AN incomplete building lives in Lack. An incomplete life is a lacking life.

we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways].”
ROMANS 6:4 AMP
