Christmas Dream Restore, Restoration

Sermon Notes

We had an amazing time in Las Vegas for our 32 year anniversary. We went Lionel Richie concert and danced to penny lover. That was the first song we danced together 34 years ago.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].”
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 AMP

God is so great. Las Vegas is so decorated for the holidays. It is so really cool. Lights, Christmas lights, music, shopping every where.

It seemed so magical. Our stay was Marriage Anniversary and Ministry. Lives for forever changed.

I ministered to a man bucking bronco rider and he text these words to me, “You have Truly changed my life…..Glory to God.

Miracles are happing all around us. They will pass you by if your not aware or you can step into them. There is this realm in God where God moves and creates, and lifts up, supports, breathes life and dreams start to take shape and become real.

When I was checking into our honey moon suite at the Encore Wynn hotel something amazing happened to me. I walked into the suite and it was really high up. We were at the top of the hotel overlooking Las Vegas. It was about 1pm and it was sunny. Our room was a smart room. Everything was high tech. I touched the switch and the lights came on and the curtains and shear cover began to open automatically. The sun began to shine and I looked on the bed and there was a straight rainbow on my pillows on the bed.

I am like wow, God began to speak to me the whole time. The words were Restore, Restoration. He began to show me a car. The price that people paid for it when it was brand new. Years go by and it is a mess. Someone decides to get that car that is a mess and Restore it. Restore is the process it goes thru.

Restore:  verb (used with object), restored, restoring.

1. to bring back into existence, use, or the like; reestablish:

to restore order.

2. to bring back to a former, original, or normal condition, as a building, statue, or painting.

3. to bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor.

4. to put back to a former place, or to a former position, rank, etc.:

to restore the king to his throne.

5. to give back; make return or restitution of (anything taken away or lost).

6. to reproduce or reconstruct (an ancient building, extinct animal, etc.) in the original state.

Restore and Restoration these words kept blasting in my head and spirit. My wife and I have never really took off for our wedding anniversary because we always said it was to close to holidays and we could not really afford to spend the money because of the church needs. We have always put God and the church first in our lives. This year God spoke some new words to me. He was raising up a people who could carry this ministry to higher levels than just me alone. He was going to supply all the money we would need and want to build the vision and dream God placed in me.

Here we are checked into our smart honeymoon suite at the Wynn and the rainbows are flashing across my pillows and as we are driving the strip i see old buildings old casino and hotels that are being demolished and then I see where one have already been demolished and new ones are being built and erected in its place.

Tearing down the old and building up the new. Restore, and restoration.

This is the promise God kept speaking to me the whole time in Las Vegas.

““Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

ISAIAH 43:18-19 AMP

We all go thru a tearing down process. This is when we are going thru hell and it is hard, trials seem to almost take us out. This is the most darkest place. You feel buried alive but really God just planted you. You are not dying, you are growing just underground. You are being developed in the dark, dark room like a photograph.

The past is past, the old is old. Listen to God, He is about to do a new Thing. We have struggled many of us. We have fought and gone thru so many different challenges, I believe God is preparing us for the New Thing.. NEW THING, NEW THING, NEW THING, NEW THING.

God timing is amazing. He says it will just spring forth. You wont even be aware of it. It is just going to happen. Shout out, SPRING FORTH. SPRING FORTH. SPRING FORTH.   Here is the promise of restoration. There will life where there was no life before. There will be progress where there was nothing. Where there was pain and hurt, God is saying healing and love. Freedom instead of bondage. Power replacing weakness. Overcoming instead of being overcome.

The old car is rusted and old and not working, but the power of restoration. You gotta take it apart and clean it up, replace things that do not work anymore. Inside out. This process hurts so much because its from the inside of us to the outside. Heart, mind and life. God took us so broken, like pilled in a junk yard, but God could see the Restored life. Better than before, Faith now replaces fear. Fixed and whole now replaces broken. Found now replaces lost. Health replaces sickness.

Restore To Restoration.

New Creation, New creature, old things passed away. WE just need to do a funeral for your old life. Bury it and leave it. Jesus has given us a new life. Until you die to you and your old life you cant have new things. New things come when old things are dead. Death must proceed new life.

Jesus came into the world to save us from ourselves. Our sinful selfish selves.

If you have ever seen a car go thru the restoration process it is truly amazing. The vehicle looks hopeless, but get the grinder and sanders and clean it up. Taking the dents out, fixing the rusted holes and giving it new engines and hoses and wires, new seats, new interior, new axels, rebuilt parts old made new and better.
